On November 3, 2021, SEP Party Secretary and Chairman Hu Jiandong led a team to Waigaoqiao Power Plant to conduct an inspection on energy supply guarantee.

 

Hu Jiandong heard a report on the energy supply guarantee by the power plant, analyzed the existing problems one by one and provided the relevant guidance. Subsequently, he led a team to the coal dock, dry coal shed and other production sites of the power plant, and carried out field inspection.

Hu put forward a few requirements as follows: first, always put power supply guarantee as the top priority, resolutely implement the decisions and deployments of the higher-level unit, execute responsibilities at various levels, and go all out to ensure energy supply work; second, insist on the problem-oriented approach, enhance communication with the power grid, government and other related units and departments, pool the wisdom to study and formulate effective measures, and make every effort to tap the power generation capacity of the units to ensure safe and reliable supply of electricity; third, strengthen the unit operation management, take multiple measures to improve the equipment reliability management continuously, and make sure that the units could function properly and steadily at the critical moment.

The related leaders and personnel of SEP General Office, Production Department, Sales and Marketing Department, Fuel Management Department, Safety, Quality and Environmental Protection Department and Corporate Culture Department and Waigaoqiao Power Plant participated in the inspection.
